So on my new M4 Air, I did not want to install iStat Menus - I don't really need to know how little stress I am putting on this machine 😀. I do, however, like some features of iStat Menus, but not how they are executed (a bit too busy for me). So I tried out Dato, from the prolific developer Sindre Sorhus - you can get this on SetApp or the Mac App Store, and he has a trial version on his site. If you get the Mac App version, there is a "Menu Bar bundle" available for the same price - which gives me a very minimal battery indicator, as well.

I really like how there is a drop down calendar when you click on the time, as well as any time zones you are interested in (I often need to know UTC for various things).
